I love Italian sausage; it makes great meatballs for spaghetti, adds the right kick for Mac N Cheez, and is a great protein when mixed with root vegetables.
This is for 1 pound of protein, but is easy to double or triple for bigger parties! I make this mixture ahead of time, so when I’m ready to cook I’m not scrambling for ingredients
This is my favorite variation to date, please let me know how you mix it up and what you serve it with!
Italian Sausage Seasoning
- 2t coconut oil
- 1/2t garlic powder
- 3T Italian seasoning
- 3T fennel seed
- 2t Smokey/Hungarian paprika
- 1/2t red pepper flake (omit for less zing)
- salt & pepper to taste
