Stitch Fix: Fix #9 Reviewed

The back to school time of year is a great reminder of what's left in our closets that we didn't wear over the summer. While I may live in a tropical climate, having fall clothes that transition to numerous seasons is important to me.

Each Fix you get to write a note to your stylist with specifics about what they can send you. For this fix, I asked for pieces that would work well in Hawaii (as we don't see 'cooler' temps until November) that would be versatile, but also have fall-trending colors. I also mentioned that I'm looking specifically for pieces to add to my capsule wardrobe, which I had started with Fix 6 a few months ago. I also updated my Pinterest Board with items that were recently launched for this years fall style from various sites, and gave them descriptions such as "love this color" or "joggers are great for short people" to give my stylist a way to translate the clothing they had access to with the information I was providing.

Here's my most recent fix from Stitch Fix, with some amazing pieces that I love, and a few I didn't care for.

I loved the dress!! It's a maxi, for SHORT PEOPLE, and a racer back so it fits my frame really well!!

The joggers were something I had on my Pinterest board specific for my StitchFix Personal Stylist to reference, and they're AMAZING! Stretchy fabric is phenomenal for curvy legs (hello, squats and deadlifts), and they're the right length for my 5'3" height! The tee and shorts I wasn't fond of, so I returned them. The yellow blouse is so pretty, light and airy for Hawaii, and can be layered for cooler temps!

I did an unboxing on my YouTube, which you'll see me use more often:
