We are passionate when people are out doing what they love, with people they want to work with!
Maybe you don’t love the bookkeeping duties of running a business, or side hustle. That’s an area we can create some ease.
We love understanding how money and time can work for us. With 17 years experience in the bookkeeping industry, we manage the bookkeeping duties for small businesses (5 or less employees) and side hustlers, allowing them to focus on doing what they love. Are you a boutique or independent business? Let us help you!
Why only small businesses, and side hustlers?
Because this website is one of each!
This is a small business, so we get how daunting the bookkeeping and administrative duties for a small business can be!
Emily has always been a side hustler, her first company was a boat washing business at the age of 14. Working only a few hours a week during the summer, in a bikini, making a few hundred dollars. That money went toward gas money, as well as being able to go see some movies.
Emily usually had a part-time job in addition to her full-time job, ever since high school graduation. When she was getting her Bachelor’s Degree (dual-major of Accounting and Administrative Support), she worked full-time during ‘normal school’ semesters, going to class full-time, and added a part-time job during the summer semester when there were only part-time classes. This (what some may call lunacy) ensured her schedule didn’t change in the manner of being committed to success. Time management is a strong skillset, brought to your needs.
This is why we specialize in helping entrepreneurs!
We have been budgeting our own money and doing our own taxes for over 17 years, because we love understanding how money can work for us instead of us simply working for money. The appreciation, instead of the fear, of money does change your mindset.
Having a side hustle, and budgeting money, is how many fun activities, or projects, are funded around here. There isn’t always enough money to do everything, but when we make an opportunity cost [external link] analysis of what we really want to do versus how much it would cost financially as well as not allowing us to enjoy something else. Opportunity cost is an important lesson many business owners will eventually learn, whether or not they realize they did, in order to move closer toward their goal.
We’ve worked over the last two decades in-house for manufacturing companies, hospitality providers, as well as banking giants. Basic accounting principles are for all industries, but your company will receive specialized attention for your specific bookkeeping needs.
